FULL-SERVICE DESIGN
Vik Milan Interiors will lead the design process from start to finish in collaboration with your preferred contractor(s) and trade resources. We will draft all design plans, ensure the design details are articulated to the contractor and executed to spec, and provide on-site project management to take the burden off you throughout the process. Renovations comprise hundreds if not thousands of individual decisions that must be made quickly and communicate effectively. With our experience and expertise, we make this process easier for you, freeing up your time and energy to focus on the details that matter to you the most.

• Design plan with 3D or 2D renderings, floor plans, and detailed spec sheets

• Creation of a detailed end-to-end project plan that includes all phases including design, site preparation, renovations, furnishing, and finishing touches

• Work plans for contractor(s) in English and Spanish articulating how the design vision is to be executed

• Collaboration with contractor via onsite meetings, regular site visits, and any ad-hoc communication needed throughout project

• Shortlist options for materials, finishes and fixtures to enable the client to make the most informed decisions possible and remove the ‘noise’ of too many options

• Drafting of space planning, lighting, millwork (mouldings and cabinetry), and electrical planning

• Budget development and management thoruhgout project

• Shortlist options for furniture, lighting and accessories for the client to make informed decisions and wade through the thousands of options available

• Sourcing of all furnishings and design components including pass-through of all brand discounts that we receive as designers

• Final styling and accesorization of the space including hanging artwork

‘A LA CARTE’ DESIGN SERVICES

Vik Milan Interiors also offers individual services in an ‘a la carte’ model if you don’t require full service design. These individual services are ideal when you may be pursuing a lighter-touch refresh of a space that won’t include renovations, or if you are in the planning stages and deciding whether to pursue a larger-scale renovation.

General Design Consult

A consultation in your home where we can walk through the space together and discuss your needs, wants, and initial ideas for your project. We will give you advice and recommendations in the moment on renovation planning, project prioritization, space planning, and general ideas for paint colors, furniture, and accessories. This service can be provided on-site or virtually based on your location.

Paint Color Selections

We will walk through your space together and discuss your design vision and color preferences. We will then recommend paint colors for you to choose from, ensuring they coordinate with other colors in the room and the levels of natural and artificial light in the space. There are thousands of paint colors available from numerous brands, and we will help you identify the paint color, sheen, and brand that make the most sense for project.

Pinterest Board Development

Pinterest is the best way to visually assemble ideas and inspirations for your project. After understanding your vision, we will generate one or multiple Pinterest boards to provide you with as many ideas and examples as possible, with each image annotated to specificy what about that image relates to your project and how it could potentially be executed. Ideas are great, but getting a clear understanding of whether they can be implemented in your space is critical. This service can be provided on-site or virtually based on your location.

Decorative Art and Accessory Recommendations

When redesigning and renovating a space, the finished product will look empty and impersonal without the added touch of artwork and decorative accessories. Based on photos and measurements of your space as well as a discussion about your aesthetic preferences and budget, we will shortlist recommendations for decorative artwork and decorative accessories that you can purchase for your space to create a finished look.

*Decorative art is defined as artwork that is not original or in the fine art domain. This will include prints or multiples from large home decor brands as well as smaller brands within our sourcing network.
